About a month ago or so I received a phone call from a dear friend of mine. We’ve been friends for years. She was feeling nostalgic. She told me how she missed the days when I was around more because during that time she grew the most and noticed  the synchronicities of the every day. And we lived in congruence with one another and established a powerful connection during our time together.

She explained since I wasn’t an active part of her life; how she’s felt disconnected and struggled spiritually to reconnect with who she is. She talked about how she feels defeated and lost. And isn’t sure where she can start to realign herself on her one “souls” path.

I assured her if she genuinely wanted to reconnect with her essence, she needed to ask herself these essential questions:

Am I willing to commit and make spiritual growth a priority in my life?

Do I have the stamina to endure the journey?

She didn’t have the answer. I told her she should meditate on these two questions, until her answer could sincerely be a YES!

The first step to spiritual rebirth is intending to yearn for growth, and putting it above everything else in your life.

I frequently see people too comfortable with being uncomfortable and they don’t even realize it. We all fear change at times, even when we know it’s for the betterment of our souls.

Why you don't make your spiritual growth a Priority

You fear doing the work

You’re afraid of what you’ll find within, when you start to do the work and what you will have to let go of.  The most laborious work we’re capable of accomplishing is what we need to do to improve ourselves

You are unwilling to face the truth

You fear telling the truth to yourselves about yourselves, and about the things or people in your life that isn’t working. The truth can be painful, the truth may challenge your current reality and force you to make necessary changes that you aren’t ready to make.

Sometimes it’s easier to lie to ourselves than it is to steer into adversity.

You aren't willing to take responsibility for your life

You refuse to examine the patterns, routines, and rituals in your life that aren’t working. Taking responsibility for your actions and holding yourself accountable is the most challenging work you will ever do but it’s one the one thing that can start to free you and give you the life you truly desire.

Remember that whatever you can’t own up to, ends up owning you.

yOU LACK THE COURAGE TO EXECUTE

You don’t believe your ready, but the truth is none of us are ever prepared to do what we need to do.

What no longer serves you must be subtracted, but too often we prefer to hold onto what it isn’t working, so we can avoid the pain of losing something. Trust me I’ve been there but you must create space for what will work.

A conscious area of energy puts us in charge of what lies ahead. You are the creator of your reality on a micro level.

When you have a burning desire to grow, evolve, and move forward, you create intentions and patterns in your life that connect you with your Higher Self.

You must prioritize this bond immediately. The process and one “true” path for you, will begin unfolding for YOU. Massive support will manifest; the Universe always delivers. You will feel peaceful, joyous, attuned, fired up, and ready to take on any challenges that come your way.

Life will make sense, and you’ll no longer avoid difficulties. When you align to your soul purpose, you live in abundance.

Please, leave some comments below. Understand none of us are on this journey alone. We are here to support each other and rise higher!
